March Bless Box Unboxing

Hey y’all! So this post is a little late since April’s box is being shipped but, better late than never.

When you think of Spring the words: vibrant, colorful, alive, radiant, warmth, and glowy comes to mind. The theme for March’s box is: Glow with Spring. I received 9 products to help me glow from inside out, plus a bonus.

Now to the good stuff, what’s in the box:

  • Primal Kitchen Coconut Cashew Bar- This protein bar made with Grass-fed Collagen, Cashews, Coconut Flakes, and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. It’s non-GMO, gluten free, dairy free, soy and canola free, and Paleo approved. The protein bar has 15 grams of protein, 3 grams of sugar from the honey, and 7,800 milligrams of  Collagen.

  • ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip: Sookie- Is a dark plum, berry tones. You can apply layers to get the amount of coverage you want. The lip gloss is creamy, rich and swatches beautifully.

  • ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip: Teeny Tiny- ColourPop describes it as a deep grayed out plum. So it’s like a gray, purple, taupe color.

  • Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid: Medium/Nude Glow- Strobing is a highlighting technique to give your skin that radiant glow. You can use it in the high points of the face with or without foundation. One of the styling tips is to blend a little bit of the strobing liquid with a primer or matte foundation for an all over shimmer. This is recommended for girls with dry skin.

  • Bless (Box) Makeup Bag- This makeup bag is not only cute, but it’s a great size. It’s great to pack all of my makeup essentials for a relaxing weekend trip.

  • Half United Friendship Bracelet- For every Half United purchase you are giving 7 meals to a child in need. This is possible because they build the cost into every product. Every 3 months Half United equally divides the profits from the purchases to their 4 charity partners in the USA, Cambodia, Fiji and Haiti. Please visit their website to learn more, click here.

  • Kamal Beverly Hills Pearl Choker- This cute choker is worth $100! Kamal Beverly Hills takes a portion of profits is donated to charity partners that support the education, healthcare, and the well-being of underprivileged women and children around the world. Please visit their website to learn more, click here.

  • SK-II Facial Treatment Essence- The Facial Treatment Essence is SK-II’s signature product. It has over 90% Pitera. Pitera™ is a clear liquid rich in vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids. It’s the miracle ingredient discovered over 35 years ago that remains essentially unchanged till today. The benefits of SK-II are:
    • Replenishes skin’s moisture to help prevent skin dryness
    • Helps smoothen skin surface texture for soft and smooth skin
    • Helps moderate skin’s renewal cycle

  • Kopari Coconut Body Glow- Is a lightweight and fast absorbing coconut oil-infused skin illuminator. You can use from head to toe as a body moisturizer which hydrates and nourishes the skin, helps with dullness and uneven texture and skin tone. Or you can use the Coconut Body Glow as a mega highlighter. This product is Vegan.
  • Bonus- Coupon codes

March Bless Box is estimated $200+

I have used every makeup/skin product in this box beside the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. I’ve been blessed to have great skin, which means I’m the worst when it comes to using skincare. I only use skincare products when I need it. I am working on getting better at this. Anyways, I’ve been using everything else nonstop! The Kopari Coconut Body Glow, I use on my face under my foundation for that EXTRA DEWY GLOW. I love how my makeup looks when I use this. The Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid is so great for that subtle glow for a natural makeup look. The only negative for me is that when applying it with my fingers (which is suggested) my foundation is rubbing off. So I’m going to try using a brush next time.

Have you tried the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence? If you have, let me know how you use it? Do you use alone or with other products?

Pop of Color

Hey y’all! How was your Easter weekend?!

When I first saw this AEO Ahh-mazingly Soft Boyfriend Shirt, I fell in love with it. However, I didn’t buy it because I didn’t want to spend $45 on a shirt, that I was just going to wrap around my waist. Not sure why I never wear my plaid shirts as a shirt (unless I get cold) but I should try wearing them more often. Anyways, when I saw the shirt on clearance, it was mine! When they named it Ahh-mazingly Soft, they were not joking, it’s so soft. I love the colors, it makes it perfect to take your outfit from blah to fun and colorful. This boyfriend shirt is great is for spring.

These cute Flatforms are from payless. They are a little bit too big for me but they are in my correct size and the smallest size, a 5. They do hurt the back of my heel but other than that, the shoes are comfortable. These also come in a Silver Metallic. I really wanted these but my size is sold out.

What piece do you add to your outfit as a Pop of Color?

The Liebster Award

Liebster Award

I was nominated by Ali from Alexandra Quinlann and was very excited! Get to know me post are a fun way to learn about other bloggers/vloggers.

If you are nominated and want to take part, here are the rules:

  1. Post 11 facts about yourself
  2. Answer the 11 questions your nominator has asked you
  3. Nominate 11 other bloggers
  4. Ask them 11 other questions
  5. Let them know that you’ve nominated them

11 Facts About Me:

  1. My favorite food is Pizza and tacos.
  2. I listen to all genres of music.
  3. I was born in Florida, which I feel like is rare. Shoutout to all my Floridians!
  4. I have a bachelor’s degree in Event Management (Go Knights!)
  5. I’m obsessed with watching youtube videos.
  6. Harry Potter is my favorite movie or should I says movies.
  7. I love ice cream. I eat ice cream almost every day.
  8. If you’re not a gator, you’re gator bait! Go GATORS!! Yes, I love the UF Gators!  🐊
  9. I don’t know how to swim.
  10. My favorite animal is a monkey.
  11. My first concert was Justin Timberlake & Christina Aguilera.

Questions Ali asked me:

  1. What would your perfect day be like?                                                                                    A perfect day for me would be on vacation is Dubai doing all the fun tourist things, being at the Summer Olympics and attended any event but mostly swimming and gymnastics, at NYFW or any fashion week, or going to a concert with all the popular 90’s bands and artist. Hopefully, all this will happen one day. A more realistic perfect day for me would be a warm 80-90 degrees sunny day (most people say this is hot), hanging out with friends or family having fun or getting photos or post done for my blog.
  2. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?                                                                                                                                          I’m deciding between pizza and tacos obviously. But I have to go with pizza. Pizza is my one true love and I eat pizza a few times a week anyways.
  3. What song’s lyrics feel as if they represent your life best?                                    “Just dance! Gonna be okay” This is from Lady Gaga’s Just Dance song. I love dancing, I always find myself dancing to music even in public. Plus dancing always makes you feel better, right?
  4. What is your favorite thing about yourself?                                                                My favorite thing about myself is I’m empathic. I have the ability to understand and share the feelings of other people.
  5. Do you prefer drugstore makeup or high end? Why?                                                            I prefer high-end makeup. Back in the day (late middle school maybe), when I first started wearing makeup my first powder press/foundation was from Fashion Fair, which you would have had to buy from Macy’s or Belk. If you don’t know Fashion Fair it was a brand that catered to women of color. This is what my granny used and she took me to the store to buy some. I’ve been really fortunate to be able to get free Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes from co-workers, I got the naked 1 & 2 palette on eBay for a great deal ( and yes they were brand new), and I save my money for what I want. Also, what I like about high-end brands, typically the store it’s sold in you can swatch/try the product before buying and with drugstore makeup you have to search for the products at different stores such as Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, and Ulta. However, I have been exploring with drugstore makeup. At the age of 25, I tried my first drugstore foundation, the L’oreal Pro Glow this year and I love it.  But because of my skin tone, I do find it easier to find my shade with higher end brands.
  6. If you could go on a date with any celebrity, who would you pick and why?               If I could go on a “date” with any celebrity, the first person that comes to mind is Gigi Hadid. I would love to be able to sit with her a chat with her about fashion, her life, her modeling career, and any tips and tricks on taking photos.
  7. What is one thing you hate about blogging?                                                                        One thing I hate about blogging is writing. I’ve never enjoyed writing, it stresses me out. I do have to say I am getting better at it.
  8. Do you believe in horoscopes?                                                                                                 Yes, I do believe in horoscopes. But only to a certain extent, I don’t live my life by them. It’s just interesting how most of the characteristics for Aries match me and my personality. And sometimes the monthly “predictions” can be right on.
  9. If you could eliminate one task from your life, what would it be?                                   I would say wash my hair and the whole process. It’s convincing myself and to start washing it that’s hard.
  10. What is one product you couldn’t live without?                                                                   I don’t know if I could live without my phone.
  11. What made you decide to start blogging?                                                                         I’ve wanted to start a fashion blog for years. I love fashion, I love to shop and I want to share my style, tips, and fashion information with others whether it’s what the trends are or what stores are having great sales.

I nominate these awesome ladies & Gentleman:

  1. Amanda (Poppyseeder)
  2. Theo (The Curl Prince)
  3. Jen (BeautyLifeMom)
  4. Marie (Single Vegas Girl)
  5. Felicia (Ms. Shopaholic Diaries)

  8. Amber (Life and Marketing)
  9. Mia (Confidently Curly)
  10. Janel (mymaynewardrobe)
  11. Jay (blissfulbeautybird)

11 questions for these great bloggers I nominated:

  1. What is your favorite app to use? For blogging or personal use.
  2. If you can only wear one makeup brand for the rest of your life, which brand would you choose? *Theo, you can only pick one brand of hair products*
  3. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
  4. Who is your celebrity crush?
  5. If you can travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
  6. Who do you get inspiration from when blogging?
  7. Do you have a talent? If so, what is your talent?
  8. If you were in the circus, what kind of performer would you be? (Clown, tight-rope walker, etc)
  9. What is your favorite Disney movie?
  10. Cake or Pie?
  11. What inspired you to start blogging?

Until next time guys!

Keep it Casual

Hey guys!! Omg, I can’t believe it’s already April! Where has the time gone? April is an exciting month because my birthday is soon. Who else’s birthday is in April?! Happy birthday!

This outfit is very casual. I would wear this running errands, somewhere that I would do a lot of walking such as Downtown Disney, going to the movies or dinner. I tend to wear jeans all the time. Even when it’s 90 degrees outside, I will still have on jeans. A way to make your casual outfit “pop” is to wear a bright or colorful tee. Adding a cool jacket will also bring style to your outfit. This could be a leather jacket, bomber jacket, or a denim jacket.

Have a great weekend!

February Bless Box Unboxing

February’s Bless Box them is (drumroll…) the month of LOVE. Shocking, right? In the box, Sazan chose items to make us look and feel our best. And I have to agree.

Now to the good stuff, here is what came in the Bless Box:

  • Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides $25 – If you were wondering like me, what are collagen peptides. “Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is a key constituent of all connective tissues. Collagen provides the infrastructure of the musculoskeletal system, essential for mobility. Peptides are short-chain amino acids naturally derived from collagen protein.” Benefits of Collagen Peptides are: it promotes youthful skin, healthier hair, and stronger nails; increase skin’s hydration; helps keep your bones healthy and strong; helps healthy digestion. This was just a few of the benefits of using this protein. The Collagen Peptide is unflavored. You can use this protein in hot or cold beverages such as water or almond milk. I’ve been wanting to try a protein powder in my smoothies. I’m interested to see if it adds a taste or chalkiness to my smoothie, and for the results of the benefits.

  • Tone It Up: My Perfect Fit Protein Sample $3 – Tone It Up uses ingredients that are plant-based, non-GMO, kosher, gluten free, dairy free, organic and vegan.Tone It Up Protein’s motto is designed for women, by women. My Perfect Fit has 3 different flavors; the flavor I have is vanilla and it has 15g in protein and it’s 100 calories. They recommended adding the protein to smoothies, almond milk or water. You can cook with it as well. Again, I’m going to try this in my smoothie.  I can’t wait to try this.

  • Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter $10 – The body butter is made with Shea butter and coconut oil making it super hydrating.

  • Amika Nourishing Mask $12- Is a deep conditioner and repair for all hair types. Free of parabens, sulfates and artificial colors. The directions say you can use it as a weekly treatment or an everyday conditioner. Benefits of using the Nourishing Mask is the results of long lasting shine, softness, hair growth, strengthens from the inside out, elasticity and manageability.

  • Amika Haute Mess Texture Gel $10- Amika Haute Mess Texture Gel is for all hair types to texturize, volumize, and hold the hair with a dry finish. The gel uses Obliphica Oil, Grapefruit, and Honey that helps create your look, as well as, add benefits to your hair. Some of the benefits from the ingredients are nutrients, healthier hair, moisture, and softness. This is free of artificial colors, parabens, sodium chloride, and sulfates.

  • Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray $10- Protects, texturizes, volumizes, repairs, and adds body to any hair type for that flawless blowout. Use the spray before blow drying to get extra texture and lift while adding a weightless layer of heat protection. This is free of sulfates and sodium chloride. Also, is safe for color-treated, Brazilian-treated and Keratin-treated hair. So are the other two products.

  • BLESS Love-Inspired Cards $15 – These Be BLESSED are a special collection of greeting cards, created by Bless Box. The cards are intended to grab the love for ourselves and the people who are most important in our lives. I’m not the type person to send out birthday or Christmas cards, so I’m not sure if I will use these. I may try something out of the box but I wouldn’t even know who to send these to.

  • Noonday Collection Sofiya Wrap Bracelet $30 – Noonday Collection is a socially responsible business that uses fashion to create significant opportunities around the world. They partner with talented artisan entrepreneurs to help make a difference, in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities that have problems such as poverty, gender violence, human trafficking and HIV/AIDS. Noonday collection currently partners with 29 artisan businesses in 12 countries around the world. Their jewelry and accessories are handmade by more than 4,000 artisans across the world. You should check out their website for more information. This wrap bracelet is gorgeous and you can layer it with other bracelets. This Sofiya Wrap Bracelet is a beautiful gold and blush bracelet that was made in India.

  • Alexis Ren x ColourPop Blotted Lip: Deja Vu  $5- This is a deep rosy pink to me but the Colourpop describes it as a pink nude. Deja Vu is a sheer matte finish, that gives you a blotted lipstick look (sheer) but you can build up the pigment. If you’re not sure who Alexis Ren is, she is an Instagram model.

  •  Alexis Ren x ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip: Bare Necessities $6- Is a peachy pink nude. It reminds of a liquid lipstick but with a satin finish.

  • Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara $8.49- The Colossal Big Shot Mascara gives you fully loaded volume in one coat. 8 out of 10 people saw root to tip volume instantly. The Big Shot brush features unique, wavy bristles that cradle the lashes, while the collagen formula delivers bold volume. It comes in 3 shades: Very Black, Blackest Black, and Brownish Black. I can’t wait to try this!

  • Maybelline 24k Palette $11.99- The 24k Palette has 12 beautiful shades, being able to create 13 looks. I like that Maybelline created Quads, Trios, and Duos looks for us to recreate or inspire a great makeup look.

  • Coupon Codes- We received 2 coupon codes in this box. The first one is 15% off of any $35 purchase from Amika and then 20% off from Vital Proteins.

February’s Bless Box is estimated over $120.

When I opened the box I was very excited about it, especially compared to last January’s box. This box has so many great products. As I mentioned, I’ve been wanting to try a protein powder, I’m just scared I will spend a lot of money on one and not like it. So I’m glad that this box not only came with one but two protein powders to try. I can’t wait to try them and see if there will be any results.

If you read my last Bless Box unboxing, I mentioned how I don’t venture or use much hair products. I ended up giving the last hair products to 2 of my friends. I probably won’t use the hair products, but I may keep these just for the beautiful packaging. But maybe I can convince myself to try them.

I’m glad that Sazan chose to put in the Noonday Collection bracelet. Not only is their jewelry gorgeous but it has a wonderful meaning and does good in the world. To empower women and help people who are in need is something I find important. Now that I know about this company, I will be purchasing items from them.

I’m ecstatic about the Maybelline products! I’ve heard great things from beauty gurus about the Big Shot Mascara. I  really hope it lives up to its hype, seeing recently I am wearing mascara more. The Alexis Ren x ColourPop Deja Vu Blotted Lipstick gives a natural look to the lips. This is great for the days I don’t want a dark lip. For the Alexis Ren x ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Bare Necessities, it swatches beautifully on the skin but when it came to applying it on my lips, it was a no. The color looks very pale.

If you are interested in any of the products, click the photo for the link(s). Do you have any good smoothie recipes? Which of these products would you like to try?

17 Hot Runway Trends of 2017: Spring/Summer

I’m so excited for Spring Trends! There are so many bold, colorful and fun fashion statements. I need to start my Spring shopping. Some of these trends you may already have seen all over social media and hopefully, I told you about some trends you haven’t seen yet.

Here are some of my favorite trends from the Runway. I hope you get some great inspiration! 😀 (P.S. this blog is long)

1. Bold Stripes- Bold and colorful. This trend you can wear a separate piece or top to bottom stripes. This trend you can get tops, skirts, dresses, pants, blazers. I think this style is a classic and will be trendy at least until next spring.

2. Khaki tones – I like the olive and dark green color. The great thing about khaki tones is that you can pair it with pretty much any other color. Plus khaki and olive green look really good on so many skin tones. These looks are great inspiration for work outfits or casual wear.

3. All Yellow-head to toe, banana. I use to wear color all the time in my high school days and early 20s. I’m not sure what happened but I feel like I never wear color that much anymore. With color being in the Spring Runways, I was in love. My goal is to wear more color (bright colors).

4. All Blue- I’m blue da ba dee da ba daa. This trend is about wearing different shades of blue in your outfit. Or you can wear the same shade of blue in different textures like Zendaya did for her Seventeen Magazine photo shoot. Looking at the other trends for Spring, you will see lots of blue.

5. Bra Top- I’m excited that crop top/bra tops are still trendy. When it’s a 100 degrees outside during the summer and humid, sometimes less clothing is best. But with this trend, you can wear a bra top in many ways. By its self, over a tee shirt, a baggy jacket over it, a sheer top over.

6. Ruffles- To me, ruffles say a great time💃🏾. But it’s also a soft, feminine romantic look. You’re going to see a lot of ruffles in tops; ruffles in the shoulder area, particular one shoulder tops and on the sleeves of the arm(s). You will also see the ruffle trend in asymmetrical dresses and voluminous skirts.

7. Neon- Standout and be bright. If neon scares you, you can add a little bit to your outfit. For example, add a pop of neon to your all black outfit.

8. Single Shoulder Cutout– whether its a single cutout or you pull your shirt to the side for that cool asymmetric look.

9. Patchwork- For sure, we will be seeing this trend on everything such as denim jeans and shorts, denim jackets, bomber jackets, accessories like purses and tote bags. This is just a few examples. What’s cool about patchwork is that you can buy a look or create your own. With the patchwork is about mixing vintage fabrics and mixing prints and fabrics.

10. Flatforms- a way to make you taller without the heels! AHHHHHH. So basically, Flatforms are platforms heels with a flat sole. You can get flatforms in sandals or sneaker style and pretty much in every color. Depending on what style you are looking for you can find them from Public Desire, Urban Outfitters, Asos, even payless (which mine should be in the mail!)

11. PINK- Pink is a big trend this year. Whether it’s a baby bubble gum pink, pastel pink,  bright pink or a dark pink. Your look can be head to toe pink or you can pair it with red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, brown, white, or black.

12. All denim/ Unique denim- All denim, All day. Denim that is different and “untraditional” whether its jeans, jackets, dresses, skirts, tops.

13. Flower Girl-Floral was all over the runways for Spring. You can wear a floral top, skirt, pants, shorts, a maxi dress, blazer, trench coat with a solid piece or head to toe floral, or a two piece. You can also mix and match the floral patterns, as long as they are in the size as floral or color tones. On the runway there were so many different looks, you can do a soft romantic floral pattern, bold, colorful, or for a retro inspired look.

14. Athletic Wear- The cool thing about wearing athletic wear is one you look like you are “fit” or at least you think that you do lol. Think Adidas tracksuit or Juicy Couture sweats. You can wear the track pants and jacket together or dress up the track pants with a button down top. Target has theses really cute track pants, I bought them but I forgot that I’m 4’10 (on a good day) and they were too big and too long.

15. Graphic Tee- graphic tees are always fun. You don’t have to do the normal band tee. I’ve seen some great graphic tees from forever 21 where they are ripped or have the lace tie up. I seen many bloggers at NYFW wear graphic tees with a powerful/inspiring/political message on it. Think graphic tees with an edge to your outfit.

17. Sheer- Sheer can be “scandalous”, I mean it’s see through. But its beautiful and can be worn in a classy way, especially sheer lace. You can layer with a bra top, shorts, a leather jacket or if you’re feeling bold, go topless. It’s your prerogative girlfriend!

There are so many great trends for Spring/Summer, which trend(s) is your favorite?

KBB Stylebox Unboxing

Knitted Belle Boutique is an online-only boutique located Overland Park, Kansas. Knitted Belle Boutique was founded by Carina out of the love for clothing, with fun prints and patterns for a unique look. I had the opportunity to collaborate with them on their KBB Stylebox.

KBB Stylebox is a one-time purchase box or a monthly subscription. The box contains clothing, accessories, skin/body care or gift chosen just for you by their stylists. All of the Styleboxes are different and each box has its own theme. How crazy, there are 14 boxes right now to choose from! From Bath and Body, Birthday, Candles, Easter, and Wedding, just to name a few. You can see the rest on The boxes range from $29.00-$99.00USD.

The box I received is the KBB Stylebox-Just For Fun (mini size). The mini boxes are $29.o0 plus free standard shipping for United States residents.

Now to the good stuff: Whats in the box!
  •  Gray & Black Cotton Socks. I got these really cute gray, black and white socks. It has a really cute frill at the tops and holes (design?) at the bottom of the socks. I would pair theses socks with booties or with a pair of heels.

  • Savvy Travelers Kleanupz Antibacterial Hand & Body Wipe. The wipe has a fresh scent, it soothes and restores the skin with the Aloe Vera and Vitamin E in it. The Kleanup2 moisturizes your skin and sanitizes it; killing 99.9% of germs.  This wipe is paraben free, eco-conscious, cruelty-free and the company is women-owned and made in California. This is something I would keep in my purse for a long drive traveling out of town or for a flight. You never know when you need to clean your hands.

  • Small Purple Pompom Keychain. Pompom keychains are such cute accessories. The pompom keychain has been a popular trend since last year and you will definitely still see this accessory in 2017. It adds a pop of color to your bag, wristlet or wallet. I’m going to have to hide this from my sister.

  •  Spongellé: Beyond Cleansing Coconut Verbena Infused Spongette. How to use the sponge? Place the sponge under water a squeeze to release a lather. Massage in a circular motion to cleanse, moisturize and restore the skin from neck to toe making the skin soft and youthful. Squeeze out excess water after each use. The  Spongellé is small and travel size friendly. Spongellé say it’s accepted on all airlines, there is nothing to spill, nothing to break. One Cleansing Infused Sponge can get 5+ uses. Making it great to travel with such as vacations, to the gym, or a beach trip. The Spongelle is hypoallergenic & dermatologist tested, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. The key ingredients are glycerin, water, fragrance, yuzu extract, edelweiss extract, and vetiver root extract. It’s also made in the USA.

  • Finch Berry Soapery: Renegade Honey. Renegade Honey is a handcrafted vegan soap. *this vegan product does not contain actual honey** Finchberry Soaps are made from natural, food grade, gluten free, and vegan-friendly ingredients. You will not find any harsh chemical preservatives in their products. Their soaps are rich, has a gentle lather, cleansing and beautifully appealing. Finchberry Soaps did a really great job designing Renegade Honey, the top actually looks like a honeycomb, it is cream colored with amber flecks. The ingredients are purified water, saponified oils of organic olive, organic coconut, palm, shea butter, select essential and/or fragrance oil, rolled oats, mica. Renegade Honey smells so good, with a rich bitter almond and sweet honey scent. To me, the smell is loud (when I open the package, I can smell the soap) but it’s a subtle smell. I’m sensitive to loud smells and I keep sniffing the scent and it hasn’t given me a headache which is great. I can’t wait to try it.
  • Urban Spa: The Love-that-Lava Pumice. This is an everyday exfoliation. The Love-that-Lava Pumice is a cooled volcanic lava that is infused with magnesium, iron, and oxygen. Making this natural for exfoliating harden skin, rough spots, and build-up of dead skin. I NEED this for my feet! Use the exfoliator on damp skin, daily to reveal soft and smooth skin.

What I love about the KBB Stylebox is 1) there are so many different theme boxes to choose from. It’s great because you can get something different all the time. Or it’s great to give as a gift since you can choose which box you want. Since you have an idea of whats going to be in the box, you don’t have to worry about if they like it or not like other subscription boxes. 2) I like how you can choose what size box you want. They have 3 different sizes: mini, regular, or super size. 3) I also, like the fact that you can choose if you want the box as a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. 4) If you don’t like the box, you can return the box (all of the items need to be returned) for store credit. This really shows that Knitted Belle Boutique really cares about their customers and their satisfaction. 5) FREE SHIPPING (US only)! Everyone’s favorite 2 words.

Though these brands are new to me, I am really excited to give these products a try. The ones I’m most excited about is the Urban Spa: lava everyday exfoliation, the Spongelle, and the Finchberry soap. I know how much my sister loves pompom keychains so I’m going to be nice and give that to her. I want to get the bath and body box or soap. Spoiler alert to any of my friends reading this, you will most likely get a KBB Stylebox for your birthday 🙂

You can get 25% off on your first Stylebox with the discount code: FirstBox. The KBB Stylebox ships to most countries, so make sure you check them out at

January Favorites

With all the great sales from December and January, I shopped so much.  Most of the items I’ve been using or wearing over and over. That why I decided to share my favorites for the month.

  • L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation $12.99. This is my first time ever using drug store foundation (thanks to LustreLux) and OMG I love this foundation. I’ve actually been using it more than my Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. Here is why I’m in love with L’Oreal Pro Glow, it makes my skin look dewy, radiant, and hydrated. This foundation is lightweight and creamy, it goes on smoothly, it’s long wearing (it says it last up to 24 hours), and has a medium coverage. The negative about the Pro Glow line is the color range sucks. There are only 12 shades to choose from. I use shade 211 “Creme Cafe”, it works for me now since its winter and I’m a ligher shade but once Summer comes and I’m tanner and this foundation won’t work for me. Another reason, I  don’t like about the foundation is the squeeze tube. I tend to make a mess, I would prefer a pump. If you have dry skin, I totally recommend this foundation.

  • Makeup Geek Contour Pan $10. The Makeup Geek contour powder is very soft and smooth, highly pigmented, and it blends out great. All of Makeup Geeks contours are Talc and Paraben free, cruelty-free, and vegan. The shade I went for is half-hearted. Half-hearted has a warm undertone and it best fitted for medium skin tones.

  • Morphe 12 NB- Natural Beauty Palette $14.99. 12NB is a nude, natural palette with 12 warm shades that are versatile. The eyeshadows are buttery and pigmented. In my opinion, the eye shadow works best with a primer.

  • Morphe 12S- Soul of Summer Palette $14.99. 12S has 12 shimmery everyday shades. I think if you purchase one, you should get both. Both palettes were a Christmas present from mom. That way if you want to glam up the matte shades with glitter you can, or use the matte shades for transition colors.

  • Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick- True Brown K (Single Lipstick – $17, Lip Kit – $29). So I broke down and brought a Kylie Liquid Lipstick. 1) I brought some for my sister’s Christmas gift and 2) there was a holiday discount. The first time I wore it, it was awful. It was patchy, it made my lips super dry, they even started cracking and my lips were hurting. I don’t know what happen but I decided to try it again, and now I’m obsessed with it. True Brown K is a deep chocolate color, highly pigmented, it’s not drying at all and very comfortable on the lips. And True Brown smells good.

  • Kalos After Hours Soothing Night Cream $44. I recieved this After Hours Night Cream in my Bless Box. The night cream helps rehydrate and refresh your skin. It is great if you have dry skin or problematic skin. If you want a full review of this night cream click here.

Here I am wearing the L’Oreal Pro Glow Foudation, the MUG Contour, the Kylie Liquid Lipstick in Ture Brown K, the eyeshadow is from the Morphe 12S palette.

  • Vici Collection Pom Beanie $20. I’ve had the opportunity to wear this beanie. There have been a few days where it has been extemrely cold in Florida. This beanie not only kept me warm but I looked fashionable as well.

  • Peter Nygard Open Front Faux-Fur Vest $35. This vest is a size 6 petite and even though it’s large on me it doesn’t look big on me. I like how versatile this vest is. I’ve worn it with black jeans, blue jeans, and a dress.

  • Antonio Melani Lock It Snake Print Cross Body Bag $85. This is in my favorites because i love that its a crossbody, I love the structure and shape of this bag. And its just faboulos. I like that it’s not just a black and white snake print, i like how there is a off white grey color with some brown in there as well to give a unique look.

Sorry, I had to use the photos from the website on the last two items because I broke my camera. 😭 😭 😭

January’s Bless Box

My feeling for this January Bless Box is meh, it’s okay. It’s not that the box or the products are bad, there are a few products I won’t use. I am not a fan of hair products. I don’t use them, I am a shampoo and conditioner girl and that’s it. I know I’m not going to use the dpHuE products because I hate the smell of vinegar. I may try the hairspray and the Blow Dry Lotion. The whole point of Bless Box is to try new products. I’m not a fan of dark chocolate or almonds (I’m a picky eater, it’s a struggle) so I’ll give the bar to my mom. The notepad is really cute, I just have so many from school career fairs and conferences. But, I will use it to write down my goals for my blog.

Silhouette: A-Line Jeans

Hey guys! I can’t believe, as a 4’10 woman, not only did I pull off wide leg jeans but I look good in them! 😮

img_0253Because I’m short I have to wear these jeans with heels. I want to get a pair of flatform shoes to be more comfortable when walking around for a long period of time. I need heeled shoes so my jeans won’t drag on the ground. Since it was “winter” that day, I paired the jeans with a sweater and a collared shirt underneath. I think this outfit can be worn for casual Friday office wear or for date night. One of the big trends for Spring and Summer is unique denim. I’m ready for Summer where I can pair these jeans with a flowy top or a bra top.

These jeans are mid-rise, super soft and comfortable. These American Eagle A-Line Jeans are a loose fit. These were the last pair in the store, which is a size 0. But if they had more sizes in the store, I would have got a size 00.

The jeans are linked below. Right now American Eagle has bogo 50% off on all jeans.

What do you think of these jeans? Would you wear them? Leave me a comment, I would love to hear your opinion.
