Better late than never, but here is my 4th of July look book.
The first outfit is very casual. This look is great for an outdoor cookout, a 4th of July festival or even the lake house. The striped shirt and the red, white and blue bandana brings the American Spirit without looking like the American Flag. If you live in Florida like me, where you are going to spend most of the weekend outdoors where there is dirt everywhere, the converse are comfortable and will keep my feet from getting dirty. Plus they pull the outfit together. You can also, wear a pair of white or red sandals instead to let your feet breath.
The next look, I used the same top and bandana. I paired it with a jean skirt and nude heels. This outfit is more for “dressed up” 4th of July events but its still very comfy. I preferred the simple tied look for the bandana but there are many ways to wear it around your neck. You can also, wear it like a headband with your hair down, in a ponytail, or braids. It can be worn as an accessory around your wrist, or on the straps on your purse.
If you don’t feel like showing some legs or your going to be at a place where it is cool, then you can wear a pair of white skinny jeans or a pair of dark denim skinny jeans or wide leg jeans.
