When starting of mixing prints, start with the basics. If you are new to mixing prints, I would suggest starting with a blouse and a blazer or cardigan. Go with the same color(s) such as black and white, as I did here, or try other classic colors like red or blue. When you are starting out mixing prints, go for the same/similar print. Prints like polka dots, stripes, leopard print, and plaid are the main prints to mix and they all look great together. Consider the size of the print too, go for similar sizes or you can do a blazer with larger polka dot and a top that has smaller polka dot print.
Once you figured out what piece you want to mix go for a solid bottom whether its pants, your favorite pair of skinny jeans, or a skirt.

These are great tips! I always shy away from mixing prints, but with the growing collection of print leggings I’ve been wearing all the time, I’m getting tired of always wearing solid shirts lol! I’ll have to give it a try…
